Transformers beauty Megan Fox lost so much weight during a period of depression her hair started to fall out.

The star grew paranoid she was only successful as a result of her good looks, and deliberately piled on the pounds.

But her weight dropped dramatically when she became obsessed with her image while shooting scenes for upcoming movie Jennifer’s Body.

Fox plays a high school cheerleader who turns into a man-eating killer when she is possessed by a demon in the film.

And she tried to convince herself she was losing weight
in an effort to prepare for the role – but secretly knew it was because she felt so low.

Fox tells Britain’s Gq magazine, “Really my only job is to look attractive. I was so angry about that, that I went in the opposite direction. I turned into a really butch bull dyke for, like, six months… Then I went in the other direction. From being a giant motorcycle-riding lesbian, I turned into a zombie. I lost, like, 30 pounds.”

She adds, “I was like, ‘I’m losing weight for the movie’. I was telling myself I was being Method, which was so outrageous and ridiculous and not true.

“But I ended up getting sick and my hair started falling out and I was like, ‘Oh f**k. I can’t do this’… You lose too much weight, you’re not getting your vitamins, you get sick. I was really skinny. I was depressed.”

This 20-year-old hottie started out as a model and embarked on her acting adventure in 2001 with acting jobs in movies with Ashley Olsen (Holiday in the Sun) and Lindsay Lohan (Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen), as well as in films with titles like How To Lose Friends & Alienate People (2007) and Whore (2008). But far from turning out as a wrecked Hollywood princess, Megan Fox lands her breakout role in 2007’s big-screen blockbuster Transformers. And things have gotten bigger and grander since.

As the new movie, the much-awaited Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, hits the theatres this month, Megan shares her insights on becoming a role model, thoughts about alien-built pyramids and on-set beauty tips in an interview by John Millar.

Megan Fox has called for legalisation of marijuana in the US, insisting that she would be the “first person in line to buy a pack of joints”.

The actress, who candidly admitted that she enjoyed smoking weed, said she would be happy to see the laws changed, reports The Daily Express.

She also took the opportunity to slam U.S. politicians for not taking action sooner, calling their war on drugs “all propaganda”.

Fox told Britain’s GQ magazine, “I can’t tell you how much bulls**t I’ve been through because I will openly say that I smoke weed. People look at it like it’s this crazy, hippy, f**ked-up thing to do. And it’s not. I hope they legalise it.

“And when they do, I’ll be the first person in line to buy my pack of joints.”

The actor said the pair went out after he became obsessed with her – but the brief relationship failed to get past a first date.

“(I was) filming a sword fight when I got the (text) message. I said to myself, ‘Can this be my life?’” Shia told Playboy magazine.

“It never got beyond one date. The spark wasn’t there. We weren’t passionate about each other in that way, so we remain friends.”

The actor also revealed that he had turned down the opportunity to hook up with his Transformers co-star Megan Fox.

Shia said he and Megan had put aside a mutual attraction in order to focus on their respective careers.

“We were very smart. We’re attracted to each other, and I think you can see that in our scenes together,” he said.

“It’s very real and tangible, and you can tell something exists.

“We could be shooting, and the relationship is suddenly on the rocks and then what? So we just never did anything about it.”

‘Transformers’ star Megan Fox has revealed that when it comes to fashion, she is entirely clueless about what to wear. Fox, 23, also says that she does not follow fashion, is not bothered about how she looks, and is comfortable wearing anything.

“I don’t follow fashion. I’m not that girl. I need people to style me because I’m pretty clueless about it and I don’t care,” the Sun quoted her as saying.

“I wear pretty much the same outfit every day: jeans, flip-flops and a super soft T-shirt and glasses,” she added. Source: New Kerala

The 22-year-old tattooed Transformers star has been mentioned a lot recently — albeit by unnamed online sources — as a potential candidate for a reboot of the Tomb Raider series a la Batman Begins and Star Trek. Goodbye, Jolie. Hello, Fox?

“Not true,” Fox tells Sun Media. “That comes from people who need to write things so people will go to their blogs. I’m not replacing Angelina Jolie. I’m not replacing anyone.”
