Megan Fox appeared on the red carpet for the 12th Annual Teen Choice Awards with a mysterious white substance caked in her nose.

It was said that she has been going to the gym to cover up her recent weight loss and that while attending Comic Con for Jonah Hex, she appeared fidgety and was constantly licking her lips.

Actress Megan Fox is looking to clinch a part in the new pirates of the Caribbean movie as the reports came out.

According to the reports the movie bosses are in search for an actress to play a sexy mermaid in “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides”, which also featured Johnny Depp as pirate Captain Jack Sparrow.

And Megan, whose exit from the Transformers franchise has recently been announced, is keen to land the role.

A website has quoted her by saying that Megan is mulling over a number of big movie offers including another sci-fi franchise and her role in the next Pirates of the Caribbean.

There haven’t been any official announcements or anything, but all summer pretty much everyone with a brain had assumed that Transformers 3 would follow up on the immense box office success of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. And has Michael Bay ever been a guy to let the people down? Today he’s announced on his website that Transformers 3 has an official release date of July 1, 2011– meaning it won’t be delayed until 2012, as even Bay himself had speculated.

He also included a nasty, passive-aggressive missive for Megan Fox in the announcement, probably thanks to her recent comments describing Bay as “a nightmare to work for.” Bay didn’t exactly have a clever comeback, but it is kinda funny in its own way:

P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. One more bit of news in there too– Bay had suggested for a while that he might make a “small movie” in between the second and third Transformers movies, but now it seems he’s committed to making it after Transformers 3. The movie, Pain and Gain, is based on a true story about two guys turning to petty crime in Florida. Bay described it to Entertainment Weekly back in 2007 as “a fun character piece. No action. One car crash.” We’ve never exactly though of Michael Bay as a guy looking for a change of pace in his career, but if he’s as exhausted by the Autobots as we are, he’s probably earned it.

Megan Fox will be the new official worldwide spokesmodel for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans starting from Spring/Summer 2010.

WWD reports the 23-year-old actress, who is replacing Victoria Beckham, was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Even though she complained publicly about working with Transformers director Michael Bay, Megan Fox has signed on to star alongside Shia LaBeouf to in Transformers 3, scheduled to hit theaters on July 1, 2011.

LOS ANGELES — Megan Fox, Hugh Jackman, Tobey Maguire and Quentin Taratino will celebrate the creepy and otherworldly at “Scream 2009.”

All are set to appear on the Spike TV special, which will be taped Saturday at the Greek Theater and air Oct. 27, the network announced Monday.

Liv Tyler, Sam Raimi, Elijah Wood and comic-book legend Stan Lee will also take part in the fourth annual event honoring sci-fi, fantasy and horror work in TV and film.

Fans can vote for their favorites online.

Vampires will have a heavy presence at this year’s event, as the cast of HBO’s “True Blood” is expected and “Twilight” star Taylor Lautner is set to show footage from the forthcoming film “New Moon.”

Spike TV is a division of Viacom.

Who knows if any of this is true, but it’s sure fun to think it might be.

This week, there have been reports on the internet that Transformers director Michael Bay is so ticked off at Megan Fox’s repeated swipes at him in the press that he’s planning on killing off her character in the first 15 minutes of the next Transformers movie. Petty? Sure. Vindictive? Absolutely. Delicious payback? And how.

Since Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hit theaters back in June, Fox — an actress who no one had ever heard of before Bay cast her in the first Autobots/Decepticons smackdown– has called her boss “a d—” and compared him to Hitler. And when I interviewed her this past summer, she called him a sadist and said that working with Bay “is not about an acting experience.” Nice.

I get it. Being a loose cannon is part of her bad-girl, tattooed, Jessica Rabbit appeal. But there is such a thing as being ungrateful, right? So if Bay really does plan on having her onscreen alterego — Mikaela Banes — impaled by a shape-shifting Camaro or Mack truck that turns into a can opener or whatever, can you really blame the guy?

Would you still go to see a third Transformers movie where Fox gets killed off? Heck, would that make you more likely to see it?

You speak of Jennifer’s Body. And boy did it bomb.

The movie supposedly—supposedly—cost only $16 million to make, a figure that analysts highly doubt, given the rising-star cast and the fact that the screenwriter is Diablo Cody, who won an Oscar for Juno. But Body grossed only about $6.8 million this weekend.

That, children, is what’s known as a bloodbath.

Perhaps you’d like to blame star Megan Fox; if she’d gotten naked, would that have changed anything?

The answer is…

…oddly, no. The failure of this film had nothing to do with what Fox did or did not wear.

The film kamikaze-d instead for two reasons.

The first, says box-office analyst Jeff Bock of Exhibitor Relations, was the genre. Americans get horror. They get comedy. But the idea of those two things together in one place, people suddenly get very dumb.

“The horror-comedy genre is the toughest sell in Hollywood,” Bock says, noting flicks like Tremors, Slither, Shaun of the Dead, Eight Legged Freaks and the Evil Dead series.

Many of those are considered critical and business successes, but none of them have brought in the megabucks that a simple horror or comedy can, Bock says. (The Scream franchise, for the record, counts more as straight-up horror for folks like Bock.)

The second box-office killer for Jennifer’s Body was its rating, Bock tells me. Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried in a flick set in high school—it sounds like the perfect package for teens. Except the R rating banned many teens from the theaters.

“So,” Bock muses, “you have an R-rated film marketed to whom, exactly?”

Nobody, it seems.

Megan Fox is fascinated by occult! Megan opens up to Parade about occult and her new flick Diablo Cody’s Jennifer’s Body which hits theaters this coming Friday.

Megan Fox on exploring the occult:
“I find it as fascinating as religion. Getting into it is like taking a religion course in college. But I would not say that the occult has guided or influenced me in any sense of the word. I was raised Catholic. I went to Catholic school for 12 years.”

On sexuality:
“I think that sexuality is power for women. I think that God or the universe, or whatever you believe in, gave men brute physical strength and gave women their sexuality. It’s so easy to control men with it, so I don’t know why I wouldn’t embrace it and allow myself to be empowered by it.”

On Jennifer’s Body’s wardrobe:
“There was something so cheese-tastic about my dresses, so gross and so cheap. It was so, like, how I used to dress when I was in high school because I had no money. It made me feel like that small-town character.”

Megan Fox transforms into a man-eating monster in Jennifer’s Body, a very different film from Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody (Juno).

The laughs in this bloody horrorfest come as Fox, a high school sex queen, ends up literally chowing down on some hunky guys in her class after being sacrificed in a satanic ritual.

The uber sexy star told Parade.com’s Jeanne Wolf why she got a kick out of wreaking a little havoc.

Lolita meets a maneater.
“I personally always find something really scary about watching little girls learning to manipulate their dads by baby talking. Then they grow up and use the same technique on their boyfriends or husbands. That scares me because it’s just so sick on so many levels. I used that because Jennifer needs to be both manipulative and intimidating. I was trying to mix aggression with that psychotic Lolita quality.”

And let’s not leave out sexuality.
“I think that sexuality is power for women. I think that God or the universe, or whatever you believe in, gave men brute physical strength and gave women their sexuality. It’s so easy to control men with it, so I don’t know why I wouldn’t embrace it and allow myself to be empowered by it.”

The laughs you won’t see in her bloody sacrifice.
“I’m basically being stabbed to death by this evil rocker played by Adam Brody. I didn’t want to bullsh** my way through it because I would have been really embarrassed, so I had to allow myself to be humiliated and toyed with. But there were some jokes in that scene that the studio wasn’t comfortable with because they felt that it was playing too real and they weren’t comfortable going for laughs. I personally disagree with them because I thought the humor worked really well and made it really original and unique.”

Well, if you really want an example…
“Like, when he’s about to kill me and I’m begging him not to, I was sort of bartering with him. In the middle of this hysteric crying, I’m saying, ‘Don’t do this. I can be a member of your street team and we can make T-shirts for you.’”

Then there was the wardrobe.

“When you’re doing a film, you’re on a set and you have retakes and you have time to get it right. And on SNL it’s just go, go, go. If you can’t read the cue cards or miss your mark, you’re just left to sort of screw up. So there’s a lot more pressure doing a live TV show.”

Why she’s sometimes misunderstood.
“This business is so much about image and it is, in some ways, a game you have to play because you’re a product and you have to be sold to people. My sense of humor doesn’t translate well into print–like, some of the things I say can be offensive or found offensive even though I don’t mean them that way. So I have been told to try and censor myself here and there. I’m trying, but I’m not really succeeding at it.”

Looking ahead.
“I have no idea about my future career. I just hope that I can still be working in 10 years. When you’re in something as successful as Transformers, you can’t use it as a sales piece for your ability as an actress because it’s all about the special effects. So you do sort of feel pressure to try and prove yourself. I have no idea what I’m capable of. I’m sort of finding that out now and testing my boundaries. I’m blessed with the opportunities that people are giving me–ones that I don’t maybe even deserve. But I’m not complaining.”
