Who knows if any of this is true, but it’s sure fun to think it might be.

This week, there have been reports on the internet that Transformers director Michael Bay is so ticked off at Megan Fox’s repeated swipes at him in the press that he’s planning on killing off her character in the first 15 minutes of the next Transformers movie. Petty? Sure. Vindictive? Absolutely. Delicious payback? And how.

Since Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hit theaters back in June, Fox — an actress who no one had ever heard of before Bay cast her in the first Autobots/Decepticons smackdown– has called her boss “a d—” and compared him to Hitler. And when I interviewed her this past summer, she called him a sadist and said that working with Bay “is not about an acting experience.” Nice.

I get it. Being a loose cannon is part of her bad-girl, tattooed, Jessica Rabbit appeal. But there is such a thing as being ungrateful, right? So if Bay really does plan on having her onscreen alterego — Mikaela Banes — impaled by a shape-shifting Camaro or Mack truck that turns into a can opener or whatever, can you really blame the guy?

Would you still go to see a third Transformers movie where Fox gets killed off? Heck, would that make you more likely to see it?

I heard a story recently that Michael Bay admitted that after making Transformers, he made “more money than you can fucking imagine.” And now it seems that Bay has decided to contribute a little bit of that to Transformers 2, operating under the assumption that bigger is always better. Well, that’s always been Bay’s mantra, it seems, but this time it applies to the budget as well.

Megan Fox, a returning star of Transformers 2 told IGN recently that the sequel is “gigantic,” probably because “It’s twice the budget.” I had been under the impression that the first Transformers cost about a bascrillion dollars, so I’m not sure which Swiss bank account Paramount robbed to make this second one.

Fox also dished a little on her part in Jennifer’s Body, Diablo Cody’s follow-up to Juno that’s about a cheerleader who becomes a vampire– and also, apparently, makes out with her best friend. Fox fessed up that she has…

According to a tipster at MB, Shia’s character, Sam, possibly falls under the influence of a splinter he retained from the AllSpark that was destroyed in the original flick. The side-effects apparently hit him while he’s in a college astronomy class taught by Raiin Wilson’s professor.

“On the first day of class, Sam goes crazy just before getting to class for some reason. It seems there is some object that he was exposed to that affected him, our guess is the splinter from the cube. …[In class] Sam read [an entire text book] in five seconds by just flipping through it, then starts telling Wilson’s character about what parts of his book are wrong. He also starts talking about how Einstein was wrong. Sam gets up from his seat and goes up to the chalk board and starts writing a lot of weird symbols on the chalk board (probably Cryptonian).”

It’s said that the next time Sam goes to class, he’s still a little weird. He tells Megan Fox’s character, who’s apparently in possession of the splinter (or whatever it is), not to touch it for fear that it will do the same thing to her. If true, kind of kooky, kind of cool, eh? Somebody should make a YouTube montage of characters in movies who read entire books in just seconds.
