LOS ANGELES — Megan Fox, Hugh Jackman, Tobey Maguire and Quentin Taratino will celebrate the creepy and otherworldly at “Scream 2009.” All are set to appear on the Spike TV special, which will be taped Saturday at the Greek Theater and air Oct. 27, the network announced Monday. Liv Tyler, Sam Raimi, Elijah Wood and comic-book legend Stan Lee will also take part in the fourth annual event honoring sci-fi, fantasy and horror work in TV and film. Fans can vote for their favorites online. Vampires will have a heavy presence at this year’s event, as the cast of HBO’s “True Blood” is expected and “Twilight” star Taylor Lautner is set to show footage from the forthcoming film “New Moon.” Spike TV is a division of Viacom. | ||

The New York Daily News reports: “‘I don’t know you, but I should,’ said Piven, staring at her like she was a lamb chop. He went on: ‘I know you’re getting an award.’ Said an unimpressed Fox: ‘Do you even know which one?’ The Entourage star was ready to answer, but she’d already walked away.” | ||

Just because you’re a star on a hit show, doesn’t mean you’re immune from the snub of a hot chick. Entourage star Jeremy Piven learned this sad, but valuable lesson when he tried to hit on Transformers hottie Megan Fox at Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards, only to get the snub in return.
